Rent a home through Bricks Twente? Follow our 3-step plan!

Step 1

Easily make a selection of suitable rental properties based on your housing needs and criteria. Important factors include your budget, the desired location, the desired start date, the surface area and other living requirements such as an outdoor space or parking space. Of course, there are income requirements associated with renting a house, apartment or studio.

Step 2

Have you found an interesting house, apartment or studio? Please contact us. Before we schedule an appointment to view the property, the rental agent will discuss the conditions with you, such as;
Is your income sufficient to rent the desired home? Number of people who want to live in the home Desired starting date and desired term Do you own a pet(s)?
If you are eligible to rent the property, we will schedule a viewing with you. During the viewing you can view the property in detail together with the rental agent and of course ask all your questions. Are you not on site to view it yourself? We also regularly conduct viewings via Skype or Facetime. You still have the opportunity to view the property, walk around virtually and ask the rental agent questions.

Step 3

If you actually want to rent the property, we request that you register for free and upload income details and a copy of your ID. The information you submit and your creditworthiness will be checked. If we have proven suitability, we will recommend it to the landlord of the home. When the landlord accepts you as a tenant, we ask you to sign a rental acceptance statement.

After signing the declaration of acceptance and receiving the deposit, we will remove the advertisement from the website and draw up the rental agreement. You will receive the rental agreement, together with the legal General Provisions, well before the date of key transfer. So that you have time to read it through at your leisure. At the same time as the rental agreement, you will receive the payment overview for the 1st month's rent and the deposit. This amount must be credited to our account before the key transfer. During delivery you will receive the keys and we will work with you to prepare an extensive initial inspection report with photos, of which both you and the landlord will receive a signed copy.
