Is a valuation the same as an appraisal?

No, a valuation is not the same as an appraisal of your home. A valuation is free.

An official appraisal entails costs and is necessary, for example, for a mortgage. The valuation can be validated by an external party. The bank will only accept the valuation if this party (for example NWWI) gives approval. The costs for the validation are also borne by the applicant. You can request a free valuation on this page. How long is a valuation valid?

A valuation is a snapshot. It is the value of the home if it were to be sold now. For example, if you only put the house up for sale six months later, the value may be different. If we have previously performed a valuation, please call for an update. This is also free and without obligation.

We arrange everything

Ultimately, as the owner, you always choose which candidate you think best suits your home. We will then request the necessary documents from this candidate (income details, identification, etc.) and carry out a screening. The rental agreement is signed digitally by both tenant and landlord. Bricks Twente does the check-in and key transfer in the house itself, whereby a report is made in which the condition of the house is shown through many photos. Meter readings and key numbers are also noted in this check-in report. During check-out, the condition of the home is compared with the condition it was at check-in.

At Bricks Twente Makelaars we attach great importance to getting to know our customers. As soon as we have received your request for a free valuation, we will contact you. Together we will first discuss your wishes by telephone and schedule an appointment on location.

Location visit

In our opinion, a good valuation of your home is not possible from a distance. That is why we are happy to visit your home for a no-obligation and free valuation. We walk through the house together and discuss any points of interest. We stick to our current knowledge of the housing market and we have information about your home in our pocket. We look in advance at comparable homes and associated values in our reference system. We would also like to hear why you want a free valuation, so that we know which choice you are facing.

Valuation and sales advice

During our on-site visit, we often provide a target price for the value of your home. After our visit, you will receive our sound advice about the current market value within three working days. We also consider the sales possibilities of your home.
